Certified Veterinary Assistant
Zara was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in 2005 as a Certified Veterinary Assistant and has worked in the veterinary field ever since. She joined Zia Pet Hospital with enthusiasm for expanding her knowledge of internal medicine and regenerative medicine while continuing to provide compassionate care to patients. In her free time, Zara enjoys spending quality time with her husband, children, extended family, and beloved pets. Her furry family includes two dogs, Scotty and Ruby, and one cat, Luke. Her love for animals and dedication to family are at the heart of everything she does.
